Mark's Story
Mark Miller is an experienced litigator who represents clients in federal and state litigations across the United States as a partner at Wallace Miller.
He has litigated a wide variety of class action, mass tort, and other complex litigation cases, including product liability, consumer protection, toxic tort, False Claims Act, securities, and other statutory claims.
Mark has been repeatedly appointed to leadership positions by courts and is consistently sought after by colleagues to aid and coordinate large Multi-District Litigation (“MDL”) briefing projects and develop winning legal theories. For example, Mark led the Plaintiffs’ Legal Briefing Committee in the massive Multi-District Litigation involving American Medical System’s pelvic mesh products and played a significant role in the companion MDL against Johnson & Johnson (Southern District of West Virginia). Previously, Mark handled a similar role for the Plaintiffs in the MDL regarding CR Bard’s Composix hernia mesh products. Mark has also developed a successful appellate practice—including coordinating, briefing, and/or arguing appeals in the Fourth and Seventh Circuits. Through his participation in defending verdicts in mass tort multidistrict litigation cases, Mark has secured the path for future litigation.
Mark plays some role in almost all of Wallace Miller’s major cases. But he is also available for hire by litigants seeking a change of counsel for appeal, or by attorneys who need expert help on projects such as appeals, summary judgment motions, and briefing to protect or attack expert witnesses.
Mark is named as a “Super Lawyer” in Illinois, after previously being named as a “Rising Star” for several years. Mark has also achieved the coveted AV Preeminent peer review designation from Martindale-Hubbell.
