Jacob's Story
Jacob Podell is an associate attorney at Wallace Miller. His practice focuses on class actions and environmental harm. He has experience representing clients through the full life cycle of a case—including pre-suit investigations, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and appeals.
Before joining Wallace Miller, Jacob served as a staff law clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit—advising the full bench on how to resolve cases, with a focus on pro se appeals. He also worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s regional office in Chicago. There, he counseled teams of scientists, engineers, and investigators to uncover environmental violations, respond to environmental crises, and enforce regulations that keep people and the planet safe.
Between his previous work with appellate courts, government agencies, and his current practice at Wallace Miller, Jacob has spent his career at the intersection of science, policy, and law—fighting to protect communities from environmental and corporate harm.
