Kathleen B. McGivney

Kathleen B. McGivney works to ensure individuals harmed by the actions of others get the chance to tell their stories and fight for compensation. By advocating for plaintiffs in mass tort, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases, her goals are to provide closure to clients, create positive legal change, and hold powerful businesses and wrongdoers accountable.

Kathleen is dedicated to understanding all aspects of civil litigation and leveraging its power on the side of plaintiffs. She has worked as a paralegal, law clerk, judicial extern, and associate attorney.

Kathleen was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago in the Beverly neighborhood. She received her JD from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2023 and graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in 2018 with a BA in Political Science and Economics. During law school, Kathleen served as a Lead Articles Editor for the Loyola Law Journal, participated in the representation of families and children with Loyola’s Education Law Practicum, and externed for the Honorable John Robert Blakey in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
